Who is the WABC?

WABC is the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches, the first international professional association dedicated exclusively to the business coaching industry. WABC is also the only association of its kind with advanced admission and renewal membership standards based on business experience, coaching experience and references. Since 1997, WABC has been representing and serving all kinds of external and internal coaches working with businesses, organizations and governments. These coaches include business coaches, corporate coaches, executive coaches, leadership coaches, organizational development coaches and many other types of coaches.

Registered Corporate Coach

The Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC), the only international professional association exclusively designed for Business Coaches, is pleased to join IMPACT Training & Development in bringing the Registered Corporate Coach (RCC) designation program. When you receive your RCC designation and become a member of WABC, you're choosing to seek the highest standards in the industry!

Obtaining the RCC Designation

The RCC designation is granted by the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC). To obtain this designation, you must be a member of WABC in good standing, and successfully complete an RCC Program, which is approved by WABC.

Pass a screening interview with Nancy Allen. To be considered, you'll need to meet these minimum WABC qualifications:

• Transitioning into, or in the early years of, business coaching practice, either as an external or internal coach
• Document at least seven years' business/organizational experience (this means coaching and non-coaching working experience in the private and/or public sectors)

Submit the program registration form and remit full payment of the RCC Program which also includes a one-year WABC Affiliate Membership to IMPACT Training & Development before commencement of program. Students who are already experienced business coaches may elect to apply for WABC Full Membership, our highest level membership at this time, for an additional fee. Submit a WABC membership application-if you aren't already a member-in the category you choose and qualify for by completing a membership application. RCC Program participants are sent joining information at the time they purchase the RCC Program. Please email WABC if you'd like further information.

Fully complete all the RCC Program requirements within six months of course start date including:

• Successfully complete the workshop.
• Receive three hours of follow-up coaching by one of your instructors to ingrain the learning from the workshops. Complete course homework that ncludes course reflection questions and practice coaching hours for each tool and skill introduced in the program. Participants must exhibit an understanding and proficiency in utilizing tools introduced in the program.
• Provide a minimum of 3 coaching evaluations that indicate the client's perspective on the coaching experience. Evaluations must be different professional clients
• Pass a written examination based on content presented in the workshop and questions to determine your ability to personally apply the information to a corporate setting.
• Receive the Registered Corporate Coach (RCC) designation and certificate from the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches.

Maintaining the RCC designation

Effective March 4, 2003, there are no requirements to maintain this designation. WABC reserves all rights in connection with the RCC designation, including the right to change the requirements of the RCC designation, and to replace the RCC designation.
